More Info: A beautiful smart young woman, Kendall is hired to tutor Jeffrey and catches the eye of Chandler Hampton, the boy's adoptive father. Kendall and Chandler don't appear to get along, trading insults, but it's clear that they are both drawn to each other. At the end of the first episode, Chandler is disappointed to learn that Kendall has a boyfriend, though Jeffrey observes that Chandler likes Kendall. In the second episode, Kendall comes to see Chandler and tells him that she can not tutor Jeffrey if he is looking for something else. They both agree that they don't like each other and there won't be a problem. However, Kendall shows up again later that day and kisses Chandler. When he questions her about the kiss, it's clear that they had both been avoiding their feelings. Sean, Kendall's boyfriend, shows up soon after finding the two together. Kendall and Sean break up, and she agrees to start seeing Chandler. Upset over the break up, Sean gives Chandler a black eye, though Chandler says that "it's a small price to pay" for Kendall. When season 9 starts, it's stated that Chandler and Jeffrey moved to Pennsylvania with Kendall.

More Info: A well known reporter returns to her hometown of Santa Ruiz when her boss assigns her to cover the murder of a teenage girl, and the disappearance of the girl's twin sister. What happened to both girls stuns the small town that hasn't seen any serious crimes since 1909. Twin sisters kidnapped, Kayla Rhodes' sister was murdered, and Kayla remains missing. What happened to Kayla and her sister? Can Kayla be found? If the series had been picked up, those questions likely would have been answered.
